About Us

At 633 E Main St, the Rangely Elks Lodge #1907 is one of those places where the handshake matters and the cause is always bigger than the night out. Members here have spent decades funding high school scholarships for local students, organizing community events, and keeping a gathering space alive in a town where options are few and neighbors still know each other by name.

The building itself tells the story honestly. The front bar area is its own world, a no-nonsense spot where members unwind after long days in the oil fields or on the ranch. The back half opens into one of the largest event spaces in Rangely, CO, routinely hosting banquets, fundraisers, and celebrations that the rest of town simply cannot accommodate. Yes, some of that space could use a refresh, and the Lodge knows it. But the bones are solid and the calendar stays full.

With a 4.5-star rating from members and guests, the Lodge earns its reputation the old-fashioned way: by showing up for the community year after year, long after the ribbon-cuttings and press releases have faded.

What We Offer

The Lodge is the go-to venue for events that need real square footage in western Colorado. The expansive back hall seats large groups for banquets and receptions, fundraising dinners, award ceremonies, and private celebrations. Rental inquiries come from families, civic groups, and businesses alike because nothing else in the area comes close in capacity.

Beyond the event space, members enjoy access to the Lodge bar, a relaxed, members-and-guests environment with reasonably priced drinks and the kind of easy conversation that only comes from a room full of people who actually know each other. The Lodge also runs regular community programs including charitable giving, youth scholarship awards, and holiday events that draw participation from across Rio Blanco County.

Membership opens the door to the full national Elks network, discounts, and a calendar of local events that keeps the Lodge active every season of the year.

"The Elks Lodge does a lot of community events. Several take place in the building which need an update. The back half is very large and accommodates any function. A bar area is in a separate area making it kid friendly. Downstairs is a large area with a kitchen area. ( have been told, have not seen personally. This lodge has been here for over 30 years."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
